Particle Size Distribution

Air Control Techniques, P.C. has conducted particle size distribution tests using Method 201A (PM10, PM2.5), Method 17 in-stack filters with light microscopy analysis, Method 17 with scanning electron microscopy analysis, and cascade impactors.

Uncombined and Combined Water Droplet Concentrations and Size Distributions

Air Control Techniques, P.C. has conducted highly specialized tests for water droplet concentrations and size distributions to help analyze mist eliminator performance, wet scrubber performance, and visible emissions/secondary plume issues.

Gas Flow Rate and Gas Flow Rate Distribution

Air Control Techniques, P.C. has used Pitot Tubes and 3-D probes to measure the spatial and temporal variability of gas flow rates.

Ammonia Slip and Ammonia-Related Secondary Plumes

Air Control Techniques, P.C. uses Method 320 (FTIR) for evaluating ammonia slip and ammonia slip variability from SNCR and SCR-controlled sources. We use this method in combination with various raw material analyses to evaluate ammonium chloride and ammonium sulfate related secondary plumes.
