PM2.5 and PM10 Emission Factors for Crushers, Screens, and Conveyor Transfer Points

Air Control Techniques, P.C. personnel have conducted all of the PM10 and PM2.5 emission factors studies for crushers, screens, and conveyor transfer points that are published in EPA’s AP42 Section 11.19.2 database. These emission factors are used nationwide and internationally for thousands of crushed stone and sand producing facilities. Our emission factor tests conducted by the National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association have saved the Crushed Stone Industry more than 400 million dollars.

Air Control Techniques, P.C. has recently added to the available PM2.5 emission factor database by conducting tests at a crushed stone plant in Burlington, N.C. and a sand-producing plant in Phoenix, Arizona. Papers concerning these two test programs are listed in our publications page.

PM10 and PM2.5 Emission Factors for Industrial Unpaved Roads

Air Control Techniques, P.C. has conducted numerous PM10 and PM2.5 emission factor tests on quarry haul roads in North Carolina, Georgia, and California for the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association. A paper summarizing a database of more than 70 test runs in is preparation and will be published soon.
